Raymond Evans
Vice PresidentRaymond has served as vice president of Makowsky Construction Company since 1998. In this role, Raymond oversees and manages all construction operations for new development and renovations for both multifamily and retail strip center projects. His duties include estimating, bidding, purchasing, coordinating with architects and engineers, negotiating with subcontractors, and project management. Evans also managed the operations of MRG’s corporate maintenance department from 2005 to 2008.
Prior to joining Makowsky Construction Company, Evans was construction manager for Evans Enterprises and also partnered with his brothers in Evans Homes. During this period he received numerous awards for excellence and superior performance in residential construction from the Memphis Area Home Builders Association.
Evans received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with an emphasis in banking and finance. Evans has been active with the Temple Israel Board of Trustees and served for 4 years as a board member.
